Welcome

I am a Consultant Occupational Therapist specialising in supporting adults with neurodevelopmental conditions and mental health problems. I offer services to people aged 16 years upwards. I also offer support to parents, carers, educators, and other professionals working with people who are Neurodiverse.

You do not need to have a diagnosis to access my support. I can complete diagnostic assessments for adults to see if they meet the diagnostic criteria for Autism, ADHD, and or Dyspraxia/DCD. However, as an Occupational Therapist I am more interested in helping people to improve their health, well-being and functioning, rather than giving them a label for their condition. Sometimes a diagnostic assessment can be helpful and that is something that we discuss when appropriate.

I use this website to explain a little about neurodiversity, different diagnoses, what Occupational Therapy is, and how I can help.

I follow a person-centred approach and work collaboratively with my clients. My initial assessment explores all areas of an individual’s daily life to identify their strengths and needs. We then work together to decide goals for intervention and support.

I have Enhanced CRB/DBS Certification, Professional Indemnity Insurance and am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under the Data Protection Act.
